Accompanied by governors, secretaries of tourism, municipal presidents, legislators, as well as members of the private sector, the Secretary of Tourism of Mexico inaugurated the Mexican pavilion at Fitur 2025

The Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, with the strong and united tourism sector, inaugurated the Mexican pavilion, the largest in America at the 2025 International Tourism Fair, where from January 22 to 26, representatives of Mexican destinations will present the greatness of Mexico to the world.

Accompanied by Quirino Ordaz Coppel, Mexican ambassador to Spain, by the governors Mara Lezama Espinosa, from Quintana Roo; Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, from Tlaxcala; Rocío Nahle García, from Veracruz; Mauricio Kuri González, from Querétaro; Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, from Michoacán; Pablo Lemus Navarro, from Jalisco; Joaquín Díaz Mena, from Yucatán; as well as secretaries of tourism; municipal presidents; legislators; as well as members of the private sector.

In this regard, he highlighted that the participation of the states of Aguascalientes, Baja California, Baja California Sur, Campeche, Chihuahua, Mexico City, State of Mexico, Guanajuato, Guerrero, Jalisco, Michoacan, Nayarit, Nuevo Leon, Oaxaca, Puebla, Queretaro, Quintana Roo, Tlaxcala, Veracruz, Yucatan and Zacatecas will be counted on, with the representation of the Ministries of Tourism.

Likewise, there will be 12 destinations: La Paz, Baja California Sur; Cancun, Quintana Roo; Monterrey, Nuevo Leon; Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo; Loreto, Baja California Sur; Merida, Yucatan; Huatulco, Oaxaca; Los Cabos, Baja California Sur; Ixtapa Zihuatanejo, Guerrero; Taxco, Guerrero; Acapulco, Guerrero and Ixcateopan, Guerrero.

The head of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) thanked the Mexican representatives for their commitment at this important tourism fair and stated that, with the above, the dedication of the members of the sector to strengthen it and make tourism a tool that brings well-being to all Mexicans, and that benefits each of the links in the tourism production chain, is evident.
