What does it mean for Arajet to be present at FITUR this year?
For us, it is very important because the Dominican Republic traditionally has a strong presence at FITUR, where we come to meet with tour operators, other airlines and people from the trade. We attend with the objective of initially promoting the country and giving it all the support.
Arajet also takes advantage of the activity to potentially make interline agreements with European airlines so that the Dominican Republic can serve multi-destination flights. And also to have greater connectivity between the Dominican Republic and European airlines.
Beyond the fair, in recent days we learned of the great news of the launch of sales of the United States routes.
That's right. Yesterday we started sales for Santo Domingo-Miami, starting the first flight on April 11, which fills us with pride. Soon we will be able to announce the first flight to New York and Puerto Rico. This will help the Dominican diaspora have direct access to their airline to be closer to the Dominican Republic, but it will also enhance the connections we have to the 23 destinations we serve.
You have grown a lot as far as airlines are concerned, with an interesting development. What are the objectives that you can share with us for 2025?
By 2025, we aim to consolidate our presence in the United States. Initially with the three cities I mentioned, but in the second half of the year we are also going to open three more routes within the country. We are in the process of determining which are those three destinations. In Arajet's plan there are 17 cities in the United States that we are going to connect.
And what can you tell us about the incorporation of fleets?
Subject to Boeing aircraft deliveries, we expect to receive three aircraft.
