Among the most notable achievements of its participation is the support for the launch of the new city brand in Madrid, a strategic proposal that positions Santiago as a unique and competitive event destination with important cultural assets in the Caribbean.
Additionally, Visit Santiago held more than 20 strategic meetings with tour operators, event organizers and industry leaders, consolidating the city as an ideal destination for meetings, incentives, congresses and events (MICE) tourism. This effort seeks to strengthen Santiago's infrastructure and connectivity to attract highly relevant international events.
The Visit Santiago stand offered an immersive experience that allowed attendees to explore the city's most representative cultural assets. The tobacco experience was also highlighted, highlighting Santiago's historical and artisanal wealth, as well as the offering of its top-class hotels and accommodations.
“FITUR 2025 has been a key platform to showcase Santiago’s potential as a diverse, vibrant destination full of opportunities. We thank all our partners and participants who have contributed to the success of this experience, and we remain committed to positioning Santiago as an event destination,” said Melany Rodríguez, president of the Bureau.
With this participation in FITUR, Santiago reaffirms its commitment to continue being a welcoming city, rich in culture, and an ideal place for both recreational and business tourism.
