In this context, Travel2latam spoke with Hernan Binaghi, General Manager of W Costa Rica - Reserva Conchal and The Westin Reserva Conchal, All-Inclusive Golf Resort & Spa, located in the North Pacific of Costa Rica, in the province of Guanacaste.

What can you share with us about this location?

Guanacaste is a province where we have the particularity of having almost six months of the year of sunshine and another six where there is a mix of sunshine and rain. This is something that attracts a lot of people because it is known that if they come in December, January, February, March or April, really every day is sunny and spectacular.

In addition, Guanacaste is a mix of greenery, adrenaline and adventure due to all the attractions we have for people to come and have fun outside the hotels. You can walk around the Ricón de la Vieja Volcano and go tubing, rafting, ziplining, as well as walk on the hanging bridges and through the national parks that surround us. And for relaxation, there is the hotel, where you can take advantage of our beach, called Playa Conchal, which is considered one of the best in the world, with beautiful crystal-clear waters, a warm temperature and spectacular white sand.

And obviously, you can have a fantastic time at either hotel. At the Westin you pay in advance for the All Inclusive, so you can control your expenses in advance, and there is a variety of 7 restaurants, 6 bars, and offers to relax and rest in our spa.

The W Costa Rica is not an all-inclusive hotel, but we can sell the all-inclusive package, depending on what the client wants. We have three restaurants, four bars and a spa. There is a very interesting offer from both hotels and I know that there are many people who like golf, so we also have an 18-hole Reserva Conchal course. And obviously, we have spectacular service at both the Westin and the W, and delicious cuisine.

What do you mainly show to the visitors of this fair?

I think that first of all we come to promote our destination, which is Costa Rica, and we are always very busy here because people are looking for that green bath, that contact with what is essential, which we enhance through Esencial Costa Rica. It is about that modern luxury of being able to enjoy nature and put your feet in the water, that is why we say that Costa Rica is Pura Vida.

What are your main source markets?

Because of the proximity to Guanacaste, the United States and Canada. We also have Europe because there are two flights that connect us. And right now we are working to have Copa return to the Guanacaste International Airport, perhaps starting in May or June. South America wants to come to visit Costa Rica and today, due to the issue of connectivity, Guanacaste is a little limited, although you can land in San José and rent a car to travel around the country on an incredible adventure.
