Hotel Xcaret México presented its evolution as the ideal destination for sustainable family tourism

Grupo Xcaret, recognized for its leadership in sustainable tourism and luxury hospitality, shined at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) 2025 with the announcement of innovative initiatives that consolidated it as a world-class destination. During its participation in the event, the group highlighted its commitment to culture, sustainability, and excellence in tourism experiences for all generations.

Hotel Xcaret México redefines family tourism

As part of FITUR 2025, Grupo Xcaret also revealed the transformation of Hotel Xcaret México, an ambitious project that included an investment of 700 million dollars. The renovation of the hotel, known for its All-Fun Inclusive® concept, includes:

1,800 rooms distributed in 10 Houses, adapted to the needs of each generation.
Spaces such as Lunateca for children, Paxanguería for teenagers, the Xinema restaurant-cinema and the exclusive Xupes speakeasy for adults.
The renovated Muluk Familia Spa, designed to combine relaxation and entertainment for all ages.

The haute cuisine of Chef Andoni Luis Aduriz arrives at XAL

One of the big news of FITUR 2025 was the incorporation of Chef Andoni Luis Aduriz to the gastronomic portfolio of Grupo Xcaret. The renowned chef, recognized as one of the great innovators of haute cuisine, presented XAL, a restaurant located in La Casa de la Playa that will fuse the culinary traditions of Mexico, the Philippines and the Basque Country, inspired by the historic Manila Route.

Aduriz explained: “XAL is a tribute to the cultural and gastronomic richness that connects continents. Mexico is the heart of this experience that combines history, creativity and unique flavors.”

Unique events that will put Mexico on the global stage

During FITUR 2025, Grupo Xcaret announced the second edition of Apapaxoa (August 26-31, 2025), a festival that will elevate Mexican cuisine to a new level of international projection. In addition, they highlighted the realization of the Xcaret Fair of Mexican Popular Art (September 25-28, 2025), a celebration of the richness of craftsmanship and the fourth edition of the Paax GNP Festival (June 19-29, 2025), directed by maestro Alondra de la Parra, an event that will combine music, creativity and cultural talent.

Commitment to sustainability and social development

Grupo Xcaret reaffirmed its positive impact by generating more than 1,600 direct jobs in the Riviera Maya, strengthening the social and economic development of the region. “Eco-integrative architecture and sustainable technologies continue to be the essence of our vision. Our purpose is to share the magic of Mexico with the world,” said Akis Neocleous, Chief Hotels Officer of Grupo Xcaret.

Finally, it also presented a special promotion for families: all minors under 18 years of age could enjoy its luxury experiences for free when booking from February 15 and for 30 days, a room for two adults between July 1 and December 23, 2025.
