This year, 21 groundbreaking innovations will be presented, from hotel revenue management tools and virtual assistants to projects promoting agrotourism in Albania. These cutting-edge solutions and sustainable concepts offer a glimpse into the trends of the future.
The pioneering ITB Innovators platform, which was launched in 2023 and is now in its third edition, puts exhibitors’ innovations, new products and services at the centre of attention at the world’s leading travel trade fair, which will be held from 4 to 6 March 2025 at the Berlin exhibition centre. In the months leading up to the trade fair, exhibitors were able to submit their innovations free of charge for evaluation by the ITB Innovators team.
The significant increase in the number of innovations presented (from 11 in 2023 to 16 last year and currently 21) reflects the innovative strength of an industry that is constantly developing new solutions to meet the changing demands of tourism. The innovations presented range from AI-based hotel management systems to flexible mobility solutions and sustainable green projects. All proposals come from exhibitors at ITB Berlin, who will offer trade visitors the opportunity to meet the innovators in person at the trade fair in March.
For the first time, ITB Berlin is offering a guided tour of the innovators at the trade fair. On Wednesday, March 5, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., under the title "Industrial Innovations on the Rise", a guided tour will be held with four to six exhibitors presenting their cutting-edge solutions. Industry professionals will be able to gain valuable insights into the latest trends and technological developments.
