During the upcoming 2025 summer season, LEVEL will increase its capacity and offer more than 652,000 seats to America, on its routes between Barcelona and its destinations in the United States and South America. The recent addition of the seventh aircraft to the LEVEL fleet allows it to offer a robust operation to continue contributing to the development of long-haul flights at Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport.

In its first summer as a long-haul operator, after obtaining its AOC, LEVEL's Latin American destinations, Buenos Aires and Santiago de Chile, show a 24% increase in extra seats in high season (July to September) compared to the same season in 2024. In addition, LEVEL will continue to be the only airline that will connect these two cities with Barcelona on a direct, non-stop flight.

On the Barcelona – Buenos Aires route, the airline will operate one daily flight during the summer period, a milestone that in recent seasons was reserved only for the winter months. In the case of Santiago de Chile, for the first time in the summer season, four flights a week are reached. In fact, the route to the Chilean capital is one of those that has seen the greatest increase this season, as it will offer 19% more seats compared to the 2024 summer season.

A complete offer in the United States

As for the US market, New York will have a daily flight from April to September. The Boston and Los Angeles routes will also have a daily flight, in July and August, the busiest months of the entire summer. The route to the capital of Massachusetts is, in fact, the one that will grow the most this summer, as it will have 51% more seats in April and an increase of almost 20% in May compared to the 2024 summer season. And on the route between Barcelona and Los Angeles, LEVEL will continue to be the only airline to offer this direct, non-stop flight.

LEVEL's other destinations in the United States, Miami and San Francisco, will both have four weekly frequencies from June to September and three flights per week for the rest of the summer season.

The arrival of the seventh aircraft allows us to maintain an operation that aims to strengthen Barcelona's long-haul connectivity and achieve milestones such as the daily flight to Buenos Aires (in the summer season) or the four weekly frequencies to Santiago de Chile, in addition to maintaining daily flights to some of the destinations in the United States.

It is also worth highlighting the significant increase in seats that LEVEL will offer during the month of April, 15% more than last year in the same period. In this way, the company demonstrates sustained growth and is committed to the intercontinental hub of Barcelona all year round, even when the tourist flow is lower.

According to Lucía Adrover, Chief Commercial & Network Officer of LEVEL: “The 2025 summer season reaffirms LEVEL’s commitment to strengthening long-haul connectivity from Barcelona. Thanks to the recent addition of the seventh aircraft, we can offer a stronger operation with four routes that will have a daily flight during July and August, the months of maximum tourist activity.”

LEVEL, the first long-haul operator at Barcelona Airport since 2023, obtained its own Air Operator Certificate (AOC) last December, which has allowed it to cease being a commercial brand to become its own airline within IAG. This milestone reflects the company's solid growth and its firm commitment to developing and consolidating intercontinental connectivity to and from Barcelona.
