Mexico's Secretary of Tourism, Josefina Rodríguez Zamora, reported that, as part of Mexico's promotion at an international level, the country will have an intense participation in the most important tourism fairs at a global level.
He commented that, from March 4 to 6, Mexico will attend the International Tourism Fair in Berlin (ITB Berlin), one of the most important events, which brings together professionals in the field to discuss trends, establish contacts and show the latest advances in travel, at the Berlin fairgrounds. He celebrated that, in addition to the above, in this next edition, it will be announced that Mexico will be the host of Las Américas for 3 years.
As part of the push for tourism in the Asian continent, from September 25 to 28, Mexico will be present at Tourism EXPO Japan, a relevant event dedicated to tourism in the Asia-Pacific region, due to the high participation of countries in the region and around the world. In addition, within the framework of the activations scheduled for 2025 in the United States, and with the support of tour operators specialized in the Asian market in that country, the arrival of tourists from Asia will be promoted as an emerging market.
On the other hand, from February 26 to 28, the country will be present at the Anato Tourism Showcase, the most notable tourism event in Colombia, organized by the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies, which will take place at the International Business and Exhibition Center, Corferias.
From April 14 to 16, Mexico's gastronomic, cultural and tourist wealth will be present in Sao Paulo, Brazil, at the World Travel Market Latin America, where 29,000 influential travel professionals and 797 exhibiting companies will participate for three days to network, do business and discover the latest news.
Meanwhile, from April 28 to May 1, the country will be present at the leading global event for the inbound and outbound travel industry in the Middle East, the Arabian Travel Market.
In order to strengthen the arrival of European and German tourists, from May 20 to 22, Mexico will attend IMEX Frankfurt, where more than 4,200 global meeting organizers will connect with 3,100 suppliers from around the world, who will build solid working relationships to promote the development of the events, meetings and experiences segment.
Also, from June 9 to 12, Mexican destinations specialized in or interested in meeting tourism will attend FIEXPO Latin America in San José, Costa Rica, with the aim of establishing agreements with the most prominent buyers at an international level.
From September 23 to 25, Paris will host IFTM-Top Resa, the international trade fair that brings together the most creative and innovative minds in the industry in France, and where Mexico will have the opportunity to establish strategic relationships.
In Buenos Aires, Argentina, from September 27 to 30, members of the Mexican market will attend FIT Latin America, a fair that brings together tourism in America, and which in its 2024 edition, had 135,042 participants, 1,870 exhibitors from 51 countries, 6,114 business meetings and 7,445 meetings.
To strengthen our country's presence in the North American market, IMEX America, the main business tourism fair in the United States, will be held in Las Vegas from October 7 to 9.
From October 8 to 10, the country will participate in the TTG Travel Experience, an event for the promotion of global tourism in Rimini, Italy, one of the most important European forums in the sector, with approximately 55 thousand visitors.
Similarly, from November 4 to 6, Mexican color and culture will once again be present at the World Travel Market in London, United Kingdom, where around 50,000 members of the international tourism industry will attend.
With the aim of promoting Mexican wealth, we will participate from November 18 to 20 in IBTM World 2025 in Barcelona, Spain.
