In 2024, Iguaçu National Park received 1,954 tourists from Belgium. Seeking to increase this number, Embratur launched a campaign to promote Brazilian tourist destinations in Europe. One of the initiatives is the broadcasting of a promotional video for Macuco Safari, in Belgium, aiming to increase visitation in Foz do Iguaçu.
The campaign highlights the unique experiences offered by Macuco Safari, which gives visitors the opportunity to navigate the rapids of the Iguaçu River and get up close to the impressive Iguaçu Falls. The tour includes a trail in an electric vehicle through the Atlantic Forest biome, followed by an exciting boat journey that culminates in a refreshing swim in the waters of the falls.
In addition to the boat ride, Macuco Safari offers activities such as suspended trails, waterfall climbing over a 20-meter drop and rafting on the waters of the Iguaçu River, just below the 275 waterfalls of the Falls. With over 37 years of experience, the attraction is recognized for its safety and respect for the environment.
Embratur hopes that this campaign will attract more Belgians, strengthening observation and eco-adventure tourism in the region. The initiative is part of a broader strategy to promote Brazilian destinations in the European market, aiming to increase the flow of international visitors and highlight the
country's natural beauty.
