Marriott International announced the conversion of the newly reopened Sunrise Miches Beach Resort to Marriott Miches Beach, An All-Inclusive Resort. This exciting transformation represents a major milestone for Marriott Hotels, the flagship brand in Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of more than 30 extraordinary brands, expanding its presence in the Caribbean and bringing its renowned hospitality to the beautiful shores of Miches. This resort, the brand’s first all-inclusive in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean archipelago, invites guests of all ages and generations to enjoy enriching experiences, captivating entertainment and vibrant local culture.
Renovations to elevate the guest experience included a refreshed interior design, redefined dining concepts, updated common areas, new functional spaces and carefully curated entertainment. The resort's prime location, with nearly 300 meters of beachfront, will provide guests with direct access to the crystal-clear waters and white sand beaches for which Miches is known.
Marriott Miches Beach offers an unparalleled all-inclusive experience, combining two distinct stay concepts in one property. One section is geared toward families, with a fun-for-all atmosphere that includes a water park and family entertainment. The other section, for adults only, offers a more exclusive and relaxed experience. The resort will have a total of 500 suites with a refined design, each with a private balcony or terrace to offer stunning views of the beach or the lush gardens.
Guests can currently enjoy a variety of amenities, including poolside rooms and six dining venues, which will expand to a total of 11 restaurants in the future. These include IBO, which offers a sophisticated seafood and fresh fish bar; Solano, dedicated to South American and Caribbean cuisine; Neko, with a ramen restaurant approach; and Cabana, where guests can connect through flavors, music, lighting, and aromas. Additionally, the resort features several bars, such as Moka, the coffee bar with sweet and savory snacks, and three exclusive pop-up spaces .
