Panama strengthens its presence in the Colombian market by participating once again in ANATO, one of the most important fairs in the tourism sector in the region. The event, which will take place from February 26 to 28 in the city of Bogotá, will bring together 48 Panamanian tourism companies, doubling the participation of the previous year.

These companies, under the advice of PROMTUR Panama and the Panama Tourism Authority, will seek to establish strategic alliances and explore new business opportunities through business meetings with professionals in the sector.

The Panama stand will offer a live cultural show, highlighting the country's typical costumes and traditional dances. In addition, one of the main attractions will be the Poin Panama, which will offer visitors a 360° virtual reality tour where they can see the most emblematic sites and the best views of Panama City.

What will Panama highlight at ANATO 2025?

Biodiversity

Panama is one of only four carbon-negative countries. Its forests absorb more carbon dioxide (CO2) than the country emits, and Panama City is the only capital in the world that houses a tropical rainforest within its boundaries.

Panama's rainforests are home to incredible biodiversity. And between June and October, Panama becomes a hotspot for whale watching. The best places to experience this are Taboga Island, the Pearl Islands, Iguana Island, Boca Chica, and Coiba National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Special products:

This year, Panama will present its wide range of tourism offerings to the more than 54,000 professionals who will attend ANATO, highlighting the destination's privileged connectivity thanks to the Tocumen International Airport and the successful Panama Stopover program of Copa Airlines. In Panama, the perfect fusion between nature and culture creates a unique destination, offering an unparalleled experience for those who choose to visit it.
