Arajet, which has the trademark “Vamo' Arriba” in both the Dominican Republic and the United States, launched sales of its first flight to the capital of Puerto Rico, which will take place on June 4 from Santo Domingo; followed by the first flight from Punta Cana on June 6.

Recently, an American airline used the Dominican airline's distinctive slogan, “Vamo' Arriba” in a design competition in Puerto Rico. However, the company that used this famous phrase for Arajet has been working in Puerto Rico for more than 20 years and has been operating a Crew Base there since December 2024. Arajet will start operating in June.

Initially, Arajet will offer Puerto Ricans the opportunity to connect with 11 destinations in its network through its two hubs in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana; thus, they will be able to make connections with Aruba, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Colombia and Peru.

And to welcome its new destination, San Juan, Puerto Rico, as part of its extensive network, Arajet has prepared a “VAMOPAPR” promotion; valid from February 17 to February 28, offering its users a 30% discount, so that anyone who wishes to fly to and from San Juan can do so from June to March 28, 2026.

Flights to San Juan will have two weekly frequencies from and to Santo Domingo and four frequencies from and to Punta Cana, on the indicated dates.

Let us remember that Arajet has maintained its development in the region, moving more than 1.2 million passengers in 2024 alone, and projects that with the entry of the United States, this figure will increase to 1.7 in 2025. There are already 25 destinations available throughout the continent, so they expect to receive 3 new Boeing 737 Max 8 aircraft to increase their fleet to 13 state-of-the-art aircraft with the highest efficiency on the market.
