A spectacular display of Albania's rich heritage and beauty.

Albania, a country steeped in history and tradition, will take audiences on a breathtaking artistic journey, blending its ancient cultural roots with contemporary influences: representing Albania at Eurovision 2025, the duo Shkodra Elektronike will entertain guests with captivating traditional Albanian folk sounds set to modern electronic music.

The Albanian National Ensemble will take to the stage with fascinating folk dances, some of which date back centuries and reflect the deep-rooted traditions of different Albanian regions: The Tropoja Dance (“K’cimi i Tropojës”) is a high-energy dance from the mountainous region of northern Albania, characterized by its fast footwork, powerful jumps and rhythmic complexity. Recognized as a UNESCO heritage site, this performance embodies the spirit and resilience of the communities of northern Albania. The Sword Dance is a dramatic dance that symbolizes bravery and warrior traditions. The dancers wield swords in a choreographed display, evoking Albania’s historic battles. The Osman Taka Dance is a traditional folk dance inspired by a legendary 19th-century Albanian freedom fighter. This performance conveys a story of heroism, defiance and patriotism, mixing graceful movements with dramatic narration. Today Albania Celebrate (“Festë të madhe ka sot Shqipëria”) is a vibrant and uplifting dance that captures the spirit of Albanian festivity and joy, with elaborate costumes and dynamic choreography.

Albania's musical heritage is as diverse as its landscapes. Guests of the opening ceremony will be treated to traditional Albanian folk music performed by the Albanian National Ensemble, such as Kaba, an Albanian musical genre and folk instrumental expression. Albanian iso polyphony, a traditional style of Albanian vocal music, will also be performed, accompanied by acclaimed pianist Robert Bisha.

Under the direction of renowned choreographer Edi Blloshmi, the contemporary dance show “Allbania All Senses” will reinterpret the cultural essence of Albania through movement and will conclude the scenic part of the evening.

Following the opening ceremony, Albania will host a culinary reception at CityCube Berlin, where guests will be able to sample its renowned cuisine. The exclusive menu will be curated by renowned chef Genti Malaveci and will showcase the traditional flavours of the Mediterranean nation.
