Cenotes Zapote: A wonderful and prehistoric park

Made up of 4 different water reservoirs, you can enjoy an experience where nature and antiquity prevail

(Cenotes Zapote)

Located just thirty minutes from Puerto Morelos, Quintana Roo, Mexico, is this ecological and prehistoric park. It is dedicated to those adventurers who wish to spend an afternoon connecting with nature and Mayan culture, not only entering a wild territory, but also bathing in waters with more than ten thousand years of history.

The park currently has several cenotes available for visits, some of which are open and others closed, called caverns. Each one has activities to do, such as snorkeling, aquatic ziplining and jumping platforms, among others. Each tour lasts approximately four hours, however, it is more than enough to be able to fully enjoy this magical place.

Cenotes Zapote offers three different types of tours. First, there is Chaka, which offers its visitors access to all the cenotes, diving platforms, an aquatic zip line, hammock areas, life jackets, exclusive parking, restrooms and showers. Then there is Zapote, who in addition to everything offered in the previous tour, also offers a regional buffet with exquisite dishes and Wi-Fi available. Lastly, there is Chechen, which provides bicycles for its jungle circuit, snorkel masks and a zip line over the jungle.
