After declaring their commitment to constitutional honor before the General Assembly, as stipulated in Article 158 of the Constitution of the Republic, both President Yamandú Orsi and Vice President Carolina Cosse headed towards Plaza Independencia.
During the ceremony, the appointed cabinet signed the appointment of new ministers, attended by Eng. Pablo Menoni as the new Minister of Tourism.
Menoni holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering. He also has a specialization in Production, Quality and Technology Management from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
He obtained the title of Expert in Innovation from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and is a specialist in Telecommunications from the Faculty of Engineering.
He joined the Ministry after completing a five-year term as Director of the Transportation Division of the Montevideo Municipality.
Previously, he worked at ANTEL as a student and worked as Head of Unit, Innovation Manager, R&D Manager and Advisor to the President.
In his union activity, he was part of the SUTEL technical committee since 2020.
