Avianca is expanding its connectivity with the Central American region with a new direct route between Miami and Guatemala City, set to launch May 10, 2025. The airline will operate a daily flight using Airbus A320 aircraft, offering more than 2,500 weekly seats between the two cities.

In 2025 alone, Avianca has launched five additional routes connecting Latin American destinations: from Fort Lauderdale to Medellin and Managua; Miami to San José, Costa Rica; Chicago to San Salvador and Tampa to Bogota, all set to
start in the first half of the year.
