The company continued to expand its presence in the region, with the opening of six (6) hotels under the Trademark Collection by Wyndham brand, five (5) under Ramada by Wyndham, four (4) under the Wyndham brand and another three (3) under Wyndham Garden. Viva Miches by Wyndham, a Trademark All Inclusive Resort (Dominican Republic)
Located along the turquoise waters of Playa Esmeralda, the 494-room all-inclusive hotel allows guests to take in views of pristine white beaches, indulge in five on-site restaurants, or indulge in their adventurous side with seasonal excursions like whale watching. Wyndham Monterrey Ambassador Centro (Mexico)

From expanding into new markets with new brands to strengthening partnerships with key owners and developers, 2024 marked a year of achievements for Wyndham across the region. Key accomplishments include:
Growth in Mexico: Wyndham strengthened its presence in Mexico, the company’s largest market in Latin America and the Caribbean, with 13 new openings. Wyndham’s footprint in the country now reaches nearly 90 hotels, increasing its room count by 90% over the past five years.
Trademark Collection by Wyndham Expansion: The brand experienced significant growth in the region, opening six hotels and more than 2,400 rooms. New additions include all-inclusive resorts in Panama and Jamaica thanks to the alliance with Decameron.
Strengthening Wyndham's presence in key markets: In 2024, the company signed 11 new contracts in Mexico, 10 in Brazil and 9 in the Dominican Republic, strengthening its presence in key markets in the region.
Green Initiative: Through the Wyndham Green Program, the company is implementing practical, measurable steps to make sustainability more accessible to franchisees, prioritizing direct solutions that create long-term impact. This year, three additional hotels achieved Level 5 – Expert, the highest certification level, joining two other previously certified hotels in the region.

Historic year at a global level:
In 2024, Wyndham experienced a 4% increase in global room growth compared to the prior year and a record number of openings with approximately 69,000 new rooms added globally. Wyndham’s global retention rate increased another 10 basis points to a record 95.7%, and its development pipeline grew 5% year-over-year to a record 252,000 rooms.
