Avianca announced the strengthening of its connectivity offering between Colombia and Argentina with three new frequencies that, starting April 1, will connect El Dorado International Airport with Ministro Pistarini International Airport in Ezeiza, serving the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

The new frequencies will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays; they will be added to the 14 weekly frequencies the airline already operates to this terminal. With this increase, Avianca will now operate a total of 17 weekly frequencies on the Bogotá-Ezeiza route.

“Bogotá and Buenos Aires are two strategic points in the South American continent. By uniting and strengthening connectivity between these two cities, we not only allow more people to explore the beauty and cultural richness of Argentina, but we also give Argentines more options, through our hub in Bogotá, to easily connect with key North American cities such as New York, Washington, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, and more than 80 destinations across our network,” said David Alemán, Avianca's Sales Director for Colombia and South America.

Additionally, Avianca also connects Bogotá directly with Aeroparque (an airport that also serves Buenos Aires) with three weekly flights. It connects Medellín with Ezeiza Airport (Ezeiza) with seven weekly flights, and Quito and Guayaquil with Ezeiza Airport (Ezeiza) with six weekly flights, respectively.
