March 17, 2025.- Sky Airline signed an interline agreement with TAP Air Portugal, allowing the Portuguese company's passengers to travel to Lima and Santiago, connecting at destinations where both airlines serve in Brazil, such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, and Porto Alegre, by purchasing a single ticket that includes all required routes.
“At SKY, we are delighted to announce a new interline agreement, this time with the Portuguese airline TAP, one of the most prestigious airlines in Europe. We are convinced that it will open up a world of opportunities for travelers wishing to explore Chile and Peru by connecting through Brazil, as well as Chileans and Peruvians who want to visit Europe with a simple and convenient travel experience. Thanks to this alliance, passengers will be able to purchase a single ticket for the entire journey, including check-in and departure to their final destination. This is the first interline agreement we have implemented this year, with the aim of continuing to strengthen our connectivity network in the region and contributing to tourism between Europe and Latin America,” commented Julio Solar, Strategy, Network and Alliances Manager at SKY.
Tickets are now available on the Portuguese airline's website, allowing TAP travelers to purchase tickets to Lima or Santiago as their final destination, with a stopover in Brazil, via SKY. It's worth noting that the Chilean-based company has made its flights to the Chilean capital available to travelers with the Portuguese airline, departing from cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Florianópolis, Salvador de Bahia, Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte (during the route's seasonal operation starting late June). Similarly, TAP travelers will be able to reach Lima, connecting in Sao Paulo, thanks to SKY's daily flights between this Brazilian city and the Peruvian capital. The agreement also allows SKY travelers departing from Chile and Peru to reach Europe, connecting on TAP flights from Brazil.
In addition to the agreement with TAP, in recent months, SKY has also signed interline agreements with Air France, KLM, and Air Europa. These agreements allow passengers to connect to more than 30 destinations in Chile, Peru, and other countries in the region by purchasing a single ticket that includes all required routes. Furthermore, thanks to the agreement with Aerolíneas Argentinas, in addition to making its connectivity network available to travelers on the aforementioned airline, SKY also offers passengers from Peru and Chile the opportunity to travel to various Argentine cities.
In this way, the company reinforces its goal of making the sky accessible to everyone, boosting its operational capacity by helping millions of tourists, not only from Latin America but also from around the world, discover the region.
