The event, promoted by CLIA Brazil, was attended by Alexander Haim, Senior Manager Park Sales at The Walt Disney Company for Latin America, who spoke to around 400 journalists about the cruise market and its expansion.

New ships, strategic itineraries and a focus on magical experiences are driving the company forward. Disney Cruise Line is expanding rapidly, investing in a modern fleet and increasingly strategic itineraries to attract a global audience — especially Brazilians. With unprecedented growth, the company recently opened Disney Treasure and is preparing to launch Disney Destiny, consolidating its position as one of the leading luxury cruise options for families, couples and groups of friends.

“Our goal is to ensure that Brazilian families have the opportunity to experience incredible vacations aboard our cruises, where magic meets the sea,” said Alexander Haim.

A growing fleet and different routes

In recent years, Disney Cruise Line has significantly expanded its fleet, going from four ships by 2022 to an ambitious plan for new vessels. Among the main new additions are:

Disney Wish (2022) – First ship in the new series, accommodates 4,000 guests and runs 3- and 4-night cruises from Port Canaveral (Florida), with itineraries through the Bahamas, including a private Disney island.

Disney Treasure (2024) – Twin of the Wish, operates 7-night Caribbean cruises, alternating between the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

Disney Destiny (scheduled for November 2025) – Also in the same class, it will be based in Fort Lauderdale, offering 4- and 5-night Caribbean itineraries, including Disney’s private islands and additional destinations in the Bahamas.

According to Haim, the expansion of the itineraries is a response to the growing demand of the Brazilian public:

"Disney Cruise Line itineraries are already extremely popular among Brazilians. With the expansion of the fleet and new embarkation ports, we are expanding the opportunities for more travelers to have access to the magical experience that only Disney offers."

More connectivity and structure for adults

While Disney Cruise Line’s main audience is families, there is a growing focus on the adult experience. The newest ships include:

Exclusive adult-only restaurants, sophisticated pools and lounges, as well as entertainment options and relaxation spaces geared towards couples and groups without children.

Additionally, the new port configuration allows for greater flexibility for travelers who wish to combine their cruise with stays in Orlando or Miami, whether to visit the theme parks or simply relax on board.

With a growing fleet, carefully planned itineraries and an unwavering commitment to quality, Disney Cruise Line has established itself as one of the best options for those seeking an unforgettable cruise experience.
