Governance in the department of Río Negro

On March 21, a meeting was held in Fray Bentos to coordinate actions and strategies to promote tourism in the Argentine province

A working meeting was recently held at the UTEC Auditorium in Fray Bentos, involving various stakeholders from the public and private sectors, focused on the development and strengthening of the tourism sector in the department of Río Negro. The event was attended by Cristian Pos, National Director of Tourism, José Luis Perazza, Departmental Director of Tourism, tour operators, and various institutions.

The meeting's objectives were to establish a structure for dialogue between industry stakeholders, coordinate joint actions to promote tourism growth in the region, and identify opportunities and needs to enhance existing tourism activity.

National Director of Tourism Cristian Pos emphasized the importance of working with all departments and territories to understand the current situation and address local demands. He also emphasized the importance of establishing clear strategies and concrete actions to address various challenges.  

These bodies are important for developing public-private governance, which strengthens the region's destinations and various tourism offerings.
