Peru will showcase its cultural richness and export potential at Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai, which will be held in Japan from April 13 to October 13, 2025. One of the main highlights will be the exhibition of replicas of the Lord of Sipán's jewelry and Nasca ceramic pieces, which reflect the country's ancient heritage.
The Peruvian pavilion, approximately 300 m² in area, will offer an immersive experience with content about the Sacred City of Caral, the Nazca Desert, the Paracas National Reserve, Moray, Machu Picchu, and the Loreto Amazon. It will also feature a gastronomic bar with tastings, show cooking, and exhibits of Peruvian products such as coffee, cacao, pisco, jewelry, handicrafts, clothing, avocado, superfoods, and alpaca textiles.
The Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission (PROMPERÚ) announced that, in addition to the cultural exhibition, business meetings, trade missions, and seminars will be held with more than 50 Asian buyers. Peruvian companies in the agroindustrial and textile sectors will be able to establish strategic alliances and expand into the Asian market.
Peru's participation in Expo 2025 Osaka-Kansai is a key opportunity to strengthen its image as a top-tier tourist destination, boost foreign trade, and foster cooperation in science and technology. The official announcement of this participation was made by the Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Desilú León Chempén, within the framework of the 14th anniversary of the Peru Brand.
