Antigua and Barbuda announce Antigua Carnival, the largest summer festival in the Caribbean

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority invites visitors to immerse themselves in the "Caribbean's Biggest Summer Festival: Antigua Carnival," taking place from July 25 to August 5, 2025, in Antigua and Barbuda. This year, Antigua Carnival kicks off with the electrifying theme "Itz A Vibe," promising an exceptional celebration of music, parties, culture, and revelry that will delight carnival lovers around the world.

With significant increases in visitor arrivals, air travel capacity, and accommodation occupancy levels reported by the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority for each edition of the event, the Antigua Carnival continues to solidify its position as a must-see summer carnival in the Caribbean.

The Honorable Charles Fernandez, Minister of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transport and Investment, stated: “Carnival is one of Antigua and Barbuda’s most important tourism events, attracting thousands of visitors who come not only for the party, but also for the warmth of our people and authentic experiences. From the music to the party, to our 365 award-winning beaches, Antigua Carnival 2025 offers an incredibly immersive summer vacation.”

Ambassador Elizabeth Makhoul, Chairperson of the Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission, stated: “The Festivals Commission has already begun collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure a bigger and better Antigua Carnival 2025. We are implementing exciting changes and significant enhancements that will enrich the product and overall experience for participants, visitors, and fans.”

T-Shirt Mas (July 26): Kick off the street parades with the exclusive and popular t-shirt mas.

Jaycees Queen Show (July 28): Witness elegance, poise and regional talent.

Soca Monarch (August 3): A battle of Antigua and Barbuda's best soca artists. Expect vibrant performances, flag-waving, and dancing.

Burning Flames 40th Anniversary Celebration (July 30): Take a journey with Burning Flames as they take you through their oldest hits to their newest. 

Melting Pot (July 31): Performances by some of the best artists in the Caribbean.
