Embratur strengthens Brazil´s position in luxury tourism and is present at the Emotions Travel Show

The Agency participates in the event for the first time and expands its presence in the segment, which reinforces the business opportunity

Luxury tourism is a segment with the potential to generate significant economic impact, foster job creation, and promote Brazilian authenticity abroad. With the goal of consolidating the country as a sophisticated destination and expanding its promotion in the international market, Embratur is, for the first time, present at Emotions Travel Show 2025, one of the leading events in the sector in Latin America.

The edition, which takes place in Lima, Peru, begins this Monday (31) and continues until Thursday (3). The initiative brings together high-level exhibitors, travel providers from Latin America and the Caribbean, and international travel consultants, providing an exclusive environment for networking and business development.

As a partner destination, Brazil is present with an exclusive lounge featuring more than 25 Brazilian products. In addition to the lounge , Embratur will offer a lunch featuring delicious Brazilian cuisine and plenty of Brazilian music for more than 400 participants over two days. This event, organized in a pre-scheduled meeting format, will comprise 46 business meetings where Brazil will be able to present its promotional and hospitality strategy for welcoming discerning travelers.  

This participation is part of Embratur's 2025 Strategic Planning and is aligned with the Technical Cooperation Agreement (ACT) with the Brazilian Luxury Travel Association (BLTA), which aims to promote and publicize Brazil in the international market.

According to Embratur President Marcelo Freixo, luxury tourism is one of the pillars of Brazil's promotional strategy for 2025. "Brazil has established itself as a globally coveted destination in the luxury segment. Our goal is to show this highly qualified audience that our country not only offers stunning landscapes, but also excellent services and experiences that combine authenticity and innovation, with a clear focus on sustainability and the valorization of our cultural roots," he states. For him, participating in the event will contribute to the flow of tourists to Brazil, generating employment and income for the country. 

The CEO of the Brazilian Luxury Travel Association, Camilla Barretto, emphasizes the importance of the collaborative work between the association and the agency. “The joint and aligned participation of Embratur and BLTA in Emotions Travel, one of the most important luxury travel fairs in the world, which showcases unique products, reinforces our joint efforts to promote Brazil as a diverse, authentic, and sustainable destination, on equal footing with the best in the world,” she recalls.
