These include children's areas with new activities and fun ways to interact with more Disney characters. There will be seasonal entertainment, games, music, dancing, and other adventures for little ones to create unforgettable Disney memories.
“We’re creating simple but fun entertainment experiences geared toward families,” said Jason Kirk, senior vice president of operations for Walt Disney World, during a panel at Disney. “There will be areas where guests can go, have fun, and relax.”
For example, at Magic Kingdom, families can discover more fun-packed kid-friendly areas at Storybook Circus and Tomorrowland with Stitch. And after the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival, families with young children can relax while enjoying the ultimate party and play space, with none other than Goofy taking over EPCOT's CommuniCore Hall. We don't want to give away all the surprises, but stay tuned for more details coming soon.
Some Disney Characters will also be in the park earlier than usual for Disney Resort hotel guests during the daily Early Park Admission period (valid theme park admission required).
Disney theme parks are often open longer during the summer months, which can help visitors plan their day around a midday pool break or enjoying more of their favorite attractions.
