Houston, Texas, April 2, 2025.- Volaris, the Mexican ultra-low-cost airline operating in Mexico, the United States, Central and South America, launched its inaugural flight connecting Houston, Texas, with the Mexican city of Monterrey. It will operate two flights daily, strengthening air connectivity between these important cities in Mexico and the United States.
Volaris launched operations in Houston, Texas, in 2015, serving more than 1.3 million customers to date. The airline currently offers six routes in this important metropolis in the southern United States, serving the Mexican destinations of Guadalajara, Morelia, San Luis Potosí, Mexico City, and now Monterrey, as well as the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. Throughout Texas, Volaris currently operates a total of 17 routes, connecting the cities of San Antonio, Dallas, McAllen, and Houston with important destinations in Mexico and El Salvador.
