Its cool climate, which drops to 12°C (53°F), makes it one of the best places for agrotourism in Panama.

Visit the Farms
Most of the farms are in the areas of Alto Boquete, Bajo Boquete, Jaramillo and Los Naranjos.

Although it's very easy to travel between these districts, we recommend renting a car or booking transportation to get around between tours and activities.

Come take a stroll and learn about the daily life of a farm. Learn about ecological farming techniques, walk through the fields, and come face-to-face with farm animals like pigs, chickens, and goats.

For the little ones in the family, the Bajo Boquete area offers the perfect blend of adventure and farm lessons. Here, in addition to feeding farm animals and horseback riding, children can also hike and visit the playground with hanging bridges, zip lines, and climbing walls.

Don't miss the coffee farms. Many of them specialize in Geisha coffee, one of the most sought-after varieties in the world. Tour the coffee plantations, learn about the entire process (planting, harvesting, and roasting), and enjoy a delicious coffee tasting.

On the coffee farm tours offered, you can also go birdwatching with expert guides. Remember that Boquete is constantly changing, and every day more farms and estates are joining forces to offer new and unique experiences to their visitors.

Flavors of Boquete
In addition to hiking and visits to butterfly farms and farms, you'll taste the sweetest flavors during your visit.

Boquete produces more than 40 types of natural honey that you can taste. You can also take a chocolate-making workshop with 100% organic Panamanian cacao and create your own truffles with your favorite fillings.

For adults, the rum tour is a must-do. Enjoy a multi-sensory experience where you'll learn about the distillation, alcohol content, origin, color, packaging, and aging of Panamanian rum. Of course, you can end your visit with a delicious tasting of the different varieties.

To complete your experience, visit one of our farm-to-table restaurants. These places explore local and sustainable cuisine. Try delicious dishes with seasonal ingredients grown within 0 km of your table.

In Boquete, you'll experience the meaning of country life. You'll learn about the hard work of all the workers who make it possible for food to reach our homes and the dedication they put into caring for the land so it can continue to produce for many years to come.

Make the most of every second you have in this beautiful district and book as many tours as you can. Adventure awaits.
