The Buenos Aires City Tourism Authority and the Undersecretariat for Disability inaugurated the 3D replica and haptic map of the Government House located in the Parque Patricios neighborhood. These resources add to the building's cultural heritage, aiming to enrich the experience of all visitors, promoting accessibility and ensuring inclusion on every tour.

The project is part of the inclusive guided tours that the Tourism Board has been offering since 2024, which include Argentine Sign Language interpreters and an itinerary designed to ensure full accessibility.

"This launch is another milestone in the collaborative work between the public and private sectors. We constantly strive to ensure that all tourists can enjoy the destination. Having devices like this helps make the city enjoyable for all who visit us," said Eugenia Wehbe, General Director of Tourism Development at the Tourism Authority.

The 3D replica, created by Tocar 3D, was obtained through drone scanning and represents the exterior of the building designed by architect Norman Foster. This model also features a QR code that provides access to information about the site in accessible formats. During the inauguration, smaller replicas of several tourist attractions along the Old Town circuit were presented, such as the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo, and the Pyramid of May.

The building's haptic map, developed by the Nínawa Daher Foundation, features augmented reality and Braille; contrasting colors make it easy to identify the building's main landmarks and spaces.

The event was attended by Fernanda Lobeto, Director of Universal Accessibility for the Undersecretariat for Disability; Alicia Daher, President of the Nínawa Daher Foundation; and Esteban Barreiro, from Tocar 3D. Several NGOs and tourism organizations from the city working on accessibility and inclusion issues were also present.

At the close of the event, the Tourism Board announced that accessible guided tours, which will include these new tools, will soon be scheduled for this year.
