The Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Commission (PROMPERÚ) and LATAM Airlines signed a strategic alliance with the goal of positioning Peru as a tourist destination in the markets of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, and Mexico.

The strategy includes a high-impact campaign, with a presence on digital platforms such as Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), YouTube, TikTok, and DV360, as well as mass emails. In the specific case of the United States, an innovative outdoor advertising campaign will also be implemented through a digital screen installed on a boat that will tour Miami Bay.

Between April and June 2025, a joint advertising campaign will be developed focused on promoting the tourist attractions of the regions of Arequipa, Cusco, and Lima in the aforementioned countries.

Thanks to this alliance, more than 796 million advertising impressions are projected to be achieved, which will significantly contribute to strengthening Peru's position as a tourist destination in these priority markets, in line with the current institutional strategic plan.

LATAM Airlines is one of the most important airlines in the region and has solid connectivity with Peru from the international markets that are part of the agreements contemplated in the strategic alliance. In this regard, it operates a total of 20 direct routes and 240 weekly flights from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, the United States, and Mexico.

This alliance is also articulated with the global "Perú Wow" campaign, which PROMPERÚ has been implementing throughout 2025. This campaign seeks to awaken awe and fascination in potential tourists as they discover the wonders of the country. It is aimed at key markets such as Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom.

Importance of the seven prioritized markets

: Chile, the United States, and Ecuador are the three main source markets for tourists to Peru, while Brazil, Colombia, Spain, and Mexico are among the top ten. During 2024, Peru welcomed 3,256,693 international tourists, of whom 2,192,618 (67.3%) came from the countries included in this campaign.

Mincetur, through PROMPERÚ, continues to promote the country's tourism offering through comprehensive initiatives abroad, with the goal of consolidating Peru as a diverse, attractive, and competitive destination on the international stage.
