Chicago will be the epicenter of international tourism from June 14-18, hosting a new edition of IPW 2025, the most important inbound travel trade show in the United States. Organized by the US Travel Association, the trade show will bring together thousands of buyers and media from more than 70 countries at the McCormick Place convention center.
Choose Chicago, the city's official destination marketing organization, unveiled details of key events that will showcase the best of local lifestyle, culture, and hospitality. Highlights include an opening night at the Field Museum, a press brunch at the legendary Wrigley Field, immersive activities in neighborhoods like Hyde Park, Pilsen, and West Town, and a grand closing party at Navy Pier.
"We want attendees to have an authentic local experience, to discover what makes Chicago a must-see destination," said Lisa Nucci, director of marketing for Choose Chicago.
IPW 2025 is expected to generate more than $5.5 billion in future travel to the U.S. and promote the arrival of more than 11 million international visitors. Chicago last hosted the event in 2014, and its return comes at a pivotal time, with global events like the 2026 World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games on the horizon.
