The implementation of the “Inmersivsa Window Screens” project, a cutting-edge technology in the tourism sector, aims to transform the future of tourism product and service marketing and help travel agencies stand out in the market with an even more attractive and immersive offering.
This launch marks a turning point for the company's travel marketing and retail business, redefining communication standards in the sector. Costa is the first company in Italy to implement this technology, through a pilot project launched in March with selected agencies in the Welcome Travel group.
Thanks to MicroMesh LED technology, a first for the tourism sector, shop windows become dynamic displays capable of offering immersive content without compromising interior visibility, guaranteed by 90% transparency. With over 120 m² of digital displays distributed in strategic locations throughout Italy, Costa brings the future of tourism communication to major cities, enabling agencies to increase their visibility and appeal.
Through three-dimensional videos and immersive content, passersby will be able to experience the magic of these destinations firsthand, swept away by spectacular images. The summer 2025 travel offering will also include Sea &
Land Destinations, an exclusive Costa offering that combines sea and land itineraries designed for an increasingly diverse audience.
Costa is already using innovative communication tools, such as the new 360° immersive content available to agencies worldwide. These videos are designed to allow travel agencies and clients to experience the Costa universe in a sensorial way, using virtual reality headsets.
