Why does Guatemala consider it important to be at the Tianguis Turístico?

It's a great platform to strengthen our relationship with Mexico and the international market. We have a cultural and geographic affinity with Mexico that allows us to connect naturally.

What kind of delegation did Guatemala bring this year?

A very comprehensive group: tourism entrepreneurs, artisans, chefs, and cultural ambassadors. We want to show that Guatemala has a diverse and authentic offering, with a strong Mayan component.

What are the star tourism products you are promoting?

Tikal remains our main icon, but we also promote destinations like Antigua, Atitlán, and the Mayan Route. We also offer experiences with indigenous communities, nature, volcanoes, and traditional cuisine.

What promotional activities are you planning for this year in Mexico?

We will have roadshows in several Mexican cities, in addition to digital campaigns and a presence in specialized media. We want more Mexicans to see Guatemala as a nearby, safe, and fascinating option.
