What are your expectations for participating in this edition of the Tourist Tianguis?

Our expectations are enormous. In Mexico, we work with more than 6,000 travel agencies, out of a total of more than 40,000 worldwide that trust Civitatis. Participating in the Tianguis reaffirms our commitment to the industry, to Mexico, and to the trade channel. We want to continue offering the best service, with the best activities, and maintain our position as a cutting-edge company. This April, we will close with nearly 100,000 Mexican travelers enjoying experiences both inside and outside the country.

Do you have any important news that you're announcing during the event?

Yes, we are very proud to announce that we are the only online platform offering the distribution and sale of the Mayan Train, one of the most important tourist activities in Mexico today. While the product is Mexican, it is sold to travelers from all over the world through our platform.

Besides the Tourist Market, what other promotional initiatives are you working on?

We actively participate in various industry events. At the beginning of the year, we organized a caravan with Petra, one of our most important partners.

The response from the Mexican market has been excellent, and that motivates us to continue expanding our presence.

How long has the Civitatis office been operating in Mexico, and how has it evolved?

The Mexican office opened in February 2023 and has grown exponentially since then. Mexican travelers appreciate experiences, ease of purchase, and excellent service, and that's what we offer. Today, we offer more than 90,000 activities, rated an average of 9.1 out of 10, in more than 4,000 destinations around the world. We have established ourselves as leaders in service, experience, and customer service.

How do you perceive the evolution of tourism in Mexico in recent years?

We've grown at triple digits during our first two years in Mexico. By 2025, we expect to grow 60% year-over-year. Demand for our activities has grown significantly, and acceptance in the Mexican market is very positive, both in the B2B and B2C channels.

What actions are you promoting for the end consumer?

We recently launched our Instagram account @civitatis_mx, where we share news, content tailored to the Mexican public, and exclusive promotions. One of these is a raffle to win a trip to Turkey, valid until May 5th. These activities help us strengthen the brand, make it more trustworthy, and facilitate sales for travel agents.

What other new features are you introducing on the platform?

In addition to the major announcements, we're constantly working on micro-improvements to both our website and app. These adjustments aren't always immediately visible, but they're focused on improving the user experience: faster speed, better usability, and greater product availability. The goal is to make the purchasing process increasingly simple and efficient for travelers.

Anything else you'd like to share with our readers?

We just want to reiterate that we remain committed to Mexico and to developing modern, accessible tourism focused on the traveler experience. We will continue to innovate and work hand in hand with the trade so that more and more people can enjoy unforgettable experiences with Civitatis.
