What is Guanajuato's objective in participating in the 2025 Tourism Fair?

We seek to promote Guanajuato to key players in the national and international tourism industry, including buyers and specialized media. We want to showcase Guanajuato as a destination with two World Heritage cities, six Magical Towns, five archaeological sites, and exceptional cuisine, making it an excellent choice for your next vacation.

Who makes up the Guanajuato delegation at the Tianguis?

Our delegation is made up of nearly 90 people, including representatives from the Ministry of Tourism, hotel industry leaders, experience providers, and local press. We also included representatives from associations and chambers that promote tourism from both the private and professional sectors.

What other tourism promotion initiatives do you have planned?

In addition to our activities at the Tianguis, we participate in international fairs and carry out specific initiatives in domestic markets such as Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey, and Querétaro. In the United States, we focus on cities in California, Texas, Atlanta, and Chicago. We are also exploring markets in Europe and Asia, particularly Japan.

How do you see the current tourism situation in Mexico and Guanajuato?

Mexico is one of the world's leading tourist destinations, with domestic tourism five times greater than international tourism. In Guanajuato, we serve both markets, offering experiences that meet the needs of different types of tourists, from Americans and Europeans to Colombians and Mexicans. Our goal is to surprise and delight our visitors.
