What is the main objective of your participation in this Tourist Tianguis?

This year, we arrived with a delegation of 36 tourism service providers and our 12 Magical Towns to promote the richness of Puebla. At this event, we seek to forge agreements with agencies and operators, as well as with other destinations, to develop joint tourism products.

What percentage of visitors to Puebla are from the domestic market?

Approximately 80%. We are a very strong regional destination, especially with neighboring states like Veracruz, Oaxaca, Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Hidalgo, Morelos, and Tlaxcala.

What is the profile of the visitor you are looking to attract?

We're targeting tourists seeking cultural, natural, and culinary experiences. We want to attract more overnight visitors, with an average stay of two nights.

Are you working with local products in your tourism offering?

Yes, in fact, we work closely with the Ministry of Economy to incorporate Puebla mezcal, foods with regional identity, and products made by local artisans into the tourism industry.

What promotional strategies are you currently implementing?

We have a national and international strategy focused on digital and traditional media. We also actively participate in trade shows, events, and airline partnerships to improve connectivity.
