São Paulo, May 8, 2025 – The Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera Convention Plaza Hotel, the second largest hotel complex in São Paulo with over 600 rooms, has completed the complete renovation of its lobby and bar, a project that represented an investment of R$10 million. The delivery of the new space marks the beginning of a new era for the hotel, strengthening its strategic position in the leisure, business, and events segments in the capital of São Paulo.

With a contemporary and functional design, the new lobby bar was completely redesigned to offer greater comfort, sophistication, and efficiency in serving guests and visitors. The renovation included modernizing the reception areas, lighting, ambiance, air conditioning, landscaping, and a complete remodeling of the bar, which now has a larger capacity and better integrates with the hotel's social areas.

The new space offers a more welcoming experience, with ideal settings for both relaxing moments and business meetings or small gatherings, in a modern, relaxed, and inviting environment. The renovation also transforms the lobby bar into a new strategic meeting point for those who frequent the Moema neighborhood, one of São Paulo's most highly valued areas, surrounded by the offices of major companies and just minutes from Congonhas Airport, one of the main gateways to the city.

The bar, named Ypê, will feature a cocktail menu that combines tradition and creativity, blending classics with original offerings. It is curated by award-winning mixologist Marcelo Prantoni. Visitors can enjoy everything from the intensity of a Negroni to the elegance of a Dry Martini, all the way to a classic Manhattan, with its balanced combination of whiskey, sweet vermouth, and aromatic bitters.

The highlight will be the WH75, a reinterpretation of the classic French 75 created by Prantoni. Inspired by the power of the French army's 75mm cannon during World War I, the cocktail celebrates the global presence of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the hotel chain that gives its name to the establishment. The drink offers an explosion of sensations, made with gin, sparkling wine, grapefruit, and sugar, and promises to captivate the most discerning palates.

For Luciano Miranda, the condominium trustee and representative of the project's investors, this investment reflects confidence in the hotel's potential:

“The completion of this renovation symbolizes the alignment between investors and management. We are committed to structural improvements that enhance the asset's value and prepare the Wyndham Ibirapuera for a new growth cycle. Transparency in management and a focus on results have been key in this process.”

Gustavo Viescas, president of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts for Latin America and the Caribbean, highlighted the brand's growth in the region and the strategic importance of Brazil for the company:

“The Wyndham Ibirapuera is an excellent example of how we want to continue growing.”

Maria Carolina Pinheiro, vice president of business development for Latin America at Wyndham, added:

“The Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera is a key property in our portfolio in Brazil. The renovation of the lobby and bar reinforces our commitment to excellence in the guest experience and further strengthens the brand's presence in one of the most competitive markets in Latin America.”

Since it began operating under Trul Hotéis and adopted the Wyndham brand in 2024, the hotel has recorded consecutive revenue and growth records. In November 2024, for example, it reached a historic R$12 million in monthly revenue, driven by a new commercial strategy and the strengthening of its international presence, with particular emphasis on the Wyndham Rewards loyalty program, which has more than 114 million members worldwide.

Alejandro Moreno, CEO of Trul Hotéis, attributes the positive results to the synergy between everyone involved:

“This retrofit represents much more than a physical renovation. It reflects a new phase and mindset for the hotel, where investors, operators, and the brand work in alignment, with a strategic vision and a focus on performance. At Trul, we believe in the potential of this asset and will continue to invest in innovation and operational excellence.”

The completion of the new lobby and bar represents another step in the hotel's repositioning. According to Angela Figueiredo, the hotel's Director of Sales and Marketing, the new atmosphere responds to the growing demand for integrated, welcoming, and functional spaces:

"We are building a high-end experience for both guests and event and convention visitors. This renovation reinforces our value proposition: combining hospitality, infrastructure, and a prime location into a single, standout product in São Paulo."

With more than 630 rooms, the hotel also features one of the largest convention centers in the city, with a capacity for 1,300 people simultaneously, in addition to the Yvá Gastronomia restaurant. The expectation for 2025 is to increase all performance indicators by at least 10%, including occupancy, average rate, and total revenue. The Wyndham São Paulo Ibirapuera closed 2024 with notable growth in performance and reputation, climbing 83 positions in the TripAdvisor ranking and earning the Traveler's Choice Award, which places it among the top 10% of the best-rated hotels in the world on the platform.
