Iberostar, an international benchmark for its responsible tourism model, announces the opening of its first hotel in Aruba: JOIA Aruba by Iberostar. Located on Eagle Beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the property enjoys a privileged location, just 15 minutes from Queen Beatrix International Airport, 10 minutes from downtown Oranjestad, and 6 minutes from the Palm Beach shopping district. This exclusive luxury resort aims to redefine the island vacation experience thanks to its excellent service, quality, and commitment to sustainability.

“We are delighted to present Iberostar's first resort in Aruba, a spectacular destination that shares our passion for quality and commitment to a responsible tourism model. JOIA Aruba by Iberostar is further proof of our commitment to offering our guests exceptional experiences. We are thrilled to expand Iberostar's presence in the Americas, with the goal of positively contributing to the local community with a shared sense of prosperity and commitment to sustainability,” said Phil McAveety, CEO of Iberostar Hotels & Resorts.

JOIA Aruba by Iberostar is a five-star paradise featuring 240 suites with stunning views. This U-shaped architectural gem has been strategically designed so guests can admire Eagle Beach.

The property is designed to welcome guests of all ages and is intended to be an attractive option for weddings, honeymoons, special occasions, and family getaways. Guests staying at JOIA Aruba by Iberostar can enjoy room, concierge, and butler service, as well as exclusive rooms with direct pool access and a rooftop Jacuzzi. The property also features a 1,000-square-meter state-of-the-art conference center, an expansive spa, a casino, and a fully equipped Fit & Fun gym. Golf enthusiasts can also enjoy the Iberostar Tierra del Sol resort's 18-hole golf course, which features spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and was recognized by USA Today readers as one of the top ten golf courses in the Caribbean in 2024.

In line with Iberostar's commitment to gastronomy, the hotel will offer three culinary options: a buffet restaurant and two themed restaurants specializing in Caribbean cuisine and open-fire meat, fish, and seafood. The hotel also has a terrace bar from which guests can enjoy Aruba's spectacular sunsets.
