Orlando will receive 75.3 million visitors in 2024

Domestic visitation grew 1.4%, totaling 68,840,300 visitors in 2024. This increase was due in part to increased day visits and non-hotel overnight stays. International visitation continued to recover at a faster pace, growing 5.9% year-over-year. In total, Orlando welcomed 6.5 million international visitors in 2024.

“Canada remains our top international market, and our strong visitation numbers in 2024 reflect the deep connection we share,” said Casandra Matej, president and CEO of Visit Orlando. “Canadian visitors are vital to our tourism community, and Orlando remains a welcoming destination that is more than just a place to visit—it’s where meaningful connections are forged and unforgettable memories are made. We remain firmly committed to the Canadian market in 2025, with ongoing marketing initiatives.”

Canada remains Orlando's top international market, with 1.29 million visitors, representing a 2.7% increase over 2023 and setting a new record for the second consecutive year. The United Kingdom, Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia round out the list of the top 5 source markets. Canada, Mexico, and Colombia remained well above pre-pandemic levels throughout 2024, while visits from the United Kingdom continued a slower but steady recovery (up 3.5%), reaching 907,900. Trips from Brazil remained steady, with slight growth of 0.2% in 2024.

Overall, the 2024 visitor composition continued to prioritize leisure tourism, with 81% domestic leisure visitors, 10% domestic business visitors, and 9% international visitors. The group meetings segment also posted strong year-over-year growth, up 3.9% to 5,616,000 visitors.
