The world’s boldest vacations are just around the corner as Royal Caribbean raises the bar with its newly revealed Ultimate Destination lineup, with the headliner, Perfect Day Mexico*, poised to break records with never-before-seen features. From new thrills and unparalleled ways to relax on the next Perfect Day to unparalleled beach escapes at the first-ever Royal Beach Clubs, the vacation brand’s growing portfolio of exclusive destinations will offer travelers more ways to experience the best of Royal Caribbean’s newest ships, along with on-land adventures in Mexico, the Bahamas and the South Pacific.

“We’ve spent the last 50 years revolutionizing the way cruising is perceived, transforming us into a global vacation brand for all generations. Now, we’re bringing our proven track record of unparalleled service and groundbreaking innovation—everything our guests know and love—to our collection of destinations that offer perfect days and locally inspired beach getaways,” said Michael Bayley, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean. “Perfect Day Mexico is bigger and bolder than any experience we’ve created to date. This destination will be the ultimate choice for family vacations, and we can’t wait to welcome adventurers from around the world to Mexico for an experience only Royal Caribbean can deliver.”

With over 80 hectares on Mexico's Caribbean coast, Perfect Day Mexico will elevate vacations with record-breaking experiences, industry firsts, and fresh takes on Royal Caribbean favorites when it debuts in fall 2027. There's something for adventurers of all ages across seven zones. Highlights include:

Loco Waterpark: Thrill seekers can conquer more than 30 adrenaline-pumping waterslides on five slide towers, including the tallest waterslide tower (and waterslides) in North and South America. The 170-foot-tall Jaguar’s Peak features two dueling slides that take riders through more than two minutes of pure thrills and the world’s longest roller coaster waterslide. Tourists can scale new heights on the tower’s 10 slides, and can even do it together on the tallest family raft slide, designed for four to six riders at a time. There are more thrills throughout the water park with hydrolaunch slides that launch riders into the air and the world’s first sombrero slide, inspired by Mexico’s iconic hat. Plus, adventure pools, a wave pool, and slides designed for younger children ensure there's something for everyone.

Splash Cove, the central neighborhood for guests of all ages to have fun, will feature the world’s longest lazy river—with a wacky side. Throughout the hour-long float, there are multiple entry and exit points and plenty of ways to stay hydrated with float bars and a cup holder on every tube. And for those who dare, an optional wacky section of the river features unexpected twists and turns with waves, rapids, and rolls. At the center of it all is a seemingly endless 100,000-square-foot pool—just one of more than 10 expansive pools at Perfect Day Mexico that together span the size of four football fields. Little ones have their own adventures in Splashaway Bay, Royal Caribbean’s largest, with waterslides sized perfectly for them. The first-ever Splashaway Cabanas nearby make this the perfect home base for families.

The Hideaway – In this adults-only neighborhood, those 18 and older with a day pass can party all day with an easy-access pool, swim-up bar, and DJ. Those looking to celebrate in style can enjoy the party in the new 20-person Ultimate Party Cabana, complete with its own pool and bar. For unparalleled relaxation, The Hideaway offers live music, swim-up bars, and cabanas.

Costa Beach Club: Guests looking to take their beach day to the next level of exclusivity can enjoy the Costa Beach Club's white-sand beaches, heated infinity pool, and premium dining. For an unforgettable retreat, adventurers can spend the day in a private cabana with a personal assistant, luxurious amenities, and a dedicated pool.

Chill Beach North and South: Relaxing travelers can enjoy Mexico's natural beauty along nearly two miles of white-sand beaches at Chill Beach, stretching north to south from the pier. Guests can enjoy complimentary lounge chairs, umbrellas, and towels at all Perfect Day Mexico beaches and pools.

Fiesta Plaza – Where all the festivities begin: A vibrant arrivals area transports tourists directly to the heart of Mexico with live music and dancing. Plus, the world’s largest sombrero sits atop the Tipsy Sombrero bar, where guests are greeted with margaritas, beers, and more.
For added all-day excitement and relaxation, 12 regionally inspired dining options are offered, from sit-down restaurants to grab-and-go options, with nearly all dining spaces complimentary for guests. Plus, there are endless reasons to toast “¡Salud!” at 24 bars, including six swim-up bars. Mariachi performances, art installations, and local artisans shopping for souvenirs bring Mexican culture to life.

Upon opening in fall 2027, Perfect Day Mexico will offer Western Caribbean itineraries from Galveston, New Orleans, and all Florida ports. Perfect Day Mexico itineraries will be available for booking this fall.

"We are committed to pushing the boundaries of what a modern vacation can be, delivering innovative experiences that create unforgettable memories for our guests and value for the communities we visit," said Jason Liberty, President and CEO of Royal Caribbean Group. "As we continue to innovate and expand our offerings at sea and on land, our ambition is to offer our guests a wide range of experiences that grow with them, turning the vacation of a lifetime into a vacation to remember."

To make Perfect Day Mexico a reality, Royal Caribbean continues its longstanding collaboration with the local government and community to develop a modern and sustainable destination that attracts tourists from around the world to Mexico. The port will remain open throughout all phases of the project and beyond, with a new Welcome Center being built by Royal Caribbean to familiarize guests of all visiting cruise lines with Mahahual's tourist attractions and offer transportation throughout the region. The development of the Perfect Day Mexico site and infrastructure projects for the local community align with parent company Royal Caribbean Group's SEA the Future commitment to deliver the best vacation experiences responsibly, caring for the planet, empowering communities, and driving innovation.

“At Royal Caribbean, our ambition is bigger than ever, as is the range of incredible experiences we design, all centered around our guests,” said Kara Wallace, Chief Marketing Officer, Royal Caribbean. “Travelers trust us to help them turn every moment into an unforgettable memory, which is why we are revolutionizing the market with unforgettable experiences at Perfect Day Mexico and beyond.”

Royal Caribbean offers the ultimate vacation to more than 7 million people annually, visiting more than 300 destinations on 28 ships, with four more on order. Over the next three years, the vacation brand will also expand its destination offering to six destinations with the addition of four exclusive experiences that redefine the vacation experience. In addition to the innovative Perfect Day at CocoCay and the upcoming adventure, Perfect Day Mexico, Royal Caribbean's new Royal Beach Clubs will offer the ultimate beach day.

Royal Beach Club Paradise Island: Scheduled to open in December 2025, the first-of-its-kind Royal Beach Club in the Bahamas will combine the stunning beaches of Paradise Island in Nassau with signature Royal Caribbean experiences. With the purchase of an all-inclusive day pass, travelers can enjoy unlimited dining, beverages and services, from The Floating Flamingo (the world’s largest swim-up bar) to three island restaurants featuring local cuisine, Bahamian art installations and live music. Travelers can join the official waitlist to be the first to hear about reservation availability in just a few weeks.

Royal Beach Club Cozumel: With stunning beaches, pools with swim-up bars, cabanas, snorkeling, kayaking, and more, the beach club will complement everything the island has to offer when it opens in 2026. The Mexican spirit will be at the center of the experience, with local touches and a variety of food and drink options, a street market, and hands-on experiences like tequila tastings and cooking classes.

Rounding out the range of experiences for every style and mood are Royal Caribbean’s signature beach destinations in Labadee, Haiti, and, coming early 2027, Lelepa in the South Pacific, for even more ways to enjoy paradise.

Lelepa – Royal Caribbean brings a bold beach experience to the shores of Lelepa, an island in Vanuatu's South Pacific archipelago, east of Australia. The first exclusive island cruise destination in the Southern Hemisphere will offer a locally inspired experience for guests from Australia and abroad, featuring serene beaches, nature trails, water activities, and exquisite cuisine.

In August 2025, travelers aboard the newest vacation icon, Star of the Seas, will experience the best of Royal Caribbean from start to finish with calls at Perfect Day at CocoCay, plus the world’s best family vacations. By 2027, 90% of the brand’s Caribbean travelers will enjoy a Perfect Day at Perfect Day at CocoCay and Perfect Day Mexico. Additionally, those sailing from U.S. Gulf ports will enjoy the best vacations beginning in 2027 with Royal Caribbean itineraries that visit Royal Beach Club Cozumel and Perfect Day Mexico.
