During its participation in Caribbean Travel Marketplace 2025, Saint Lucia presented a renewed tourism strategy that combines infrastructure growth, attracting new international markets, and a firm commitment to sustainability and local development.

Among the most significant announcements is the construction of a new convention center, a project that seeks to position the destination in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) segment, expanding its offerings beyond traditional vacation tourism.

The country is also moving forward with the expansion of its hotel infrastructure, with new projects that strengthen accommodation capacity and elevate the quality of the experience for its visitors.

One of the main focuses is the diversification of source markets. In this regard, Saint Lucia reported sustained growth in tourist arrivals from France, Germany, and, increasingly, from Latin America, a region with great potential for the destination.

Sustainable tourism with real impact

With a well-established reputation as one of the most beautiful and hospitable destinations in the Caribbean, Saint Lucia reaffirms its commitment to environmental stewardship and responsible tourism. In each initiative presented, it was clear that the goal is not only to attract more visitors, but also to ensure that this growth leaves a positive legacy in the local communities.

The promotion of cultural events and festivals is another pillar driving demand, keeping the island a vibrant destination with year-round offerings. From musical celebrations to culinary gatherings, Saint Lucia always offers reasons to return.

With a strategy that balances growth, sustainability, and diversification, Saint Lucia strengthens its position on the international tourism map and presents itself as a model of responsible development in the Caribbean.
