Bogotá, May 2025 – Panamanian airline Copa Airlines, a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, SA, announced the appointment of Paola Andrea Castaño Ospina as the new regional manager for Andean countries. She will lead commercial strategies, lead regional teams, and promote initiatives focused on air connectivity and tourism in Latin America.
Castaño has over 20 years of professional experience in the tourism and air services industry and a solid academic background: she holds a degree in business administration from the CEIPA University Foundation and a degree in Tourism Management from the Colegio Mayor de Antioquia. Her career at Copa Airlines began 17 years ago, where she has held various positions of increasing responsibility. Between 2008 and 2016, she was sales manager in Medellín and Santanderes, and since then, she has served as national sales manager in Colombia for nine years.
With this appointment, the airline strengthens its strategic presence in one of the key regions for its operations. “The Andean countries are one of the most important markets for our company.
