Mexico City – May 21, 2025 — With a renewed enthusiasm for exploring new horizons, Latin America is positioning itself as one of the most attractive destinations of the year. In line with this trend, IHG Hotels & Resorts announces the addition of four new properties that capture the unique essence of the region and offer immersive experiences that celebrate its natural, cultural, and culinary diversity.

In Peru, SOUMA Lima, the Vignette Collection's first hotel in South America, stands in the heart of Miraflores. Inspired by the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, this boutique hotel promotes a sustainable luxury experience, free of single-use plastics, with natural design and offerings such as sunset pisco tastings, rooftop yoga, and signature cuisine. With 214 rooms, a rooftop pool, and event spaces, SOUMA serves as a connecting point between tradition and modernity in the Peruvian capital.

In Honduras, Kimpton Grand Roatán Resort & Spa is located on West Bay Beach, facing the Mesoamerican Reef. This resort celebrates Roatán's natural and cultural riches through 119 rooms decorated with local crafts, cuisine featuring seafood flavors, and experiences such as snorkeling, cultural workshops, and oceanfront wellness. Its architecture is designed to blend with the surroundings, featuring sustainable practices and the use of local products as part of its commitment to the community.

In the Dominican Republic, Kimpton Las Mercedes is located in a restored 16th-century structure in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo. Designed by renowned architect Rafael Moneo, the hotel preserves original elements and blends them with a contemporary style. It features 130 rooms, an Italian-inspired culinary experience at Zola restaurant, an open-air bar, and an exclusive Dominican rum and cigar lounge, in a setting that celebrates the historic legacy of the oldest city in the Americas.

Finally, in Mexico, Kimpton Mas Olas Resort & Spa redefines sustainable luxury in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur. This coastal Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town) is the perfect setting for a resort surrounded by art, culture, and nature. With 103 rooms and villas designed with local materials, organic gardens, a water recycling system, and practices that reduce environmental impact, the hotel offers privileged views of the Sierra de la Laguna and the Pacific Ocean, as well as direct access to the area's creative and culinary wealth.

With these openings, IHG Hotels & Resorts strengthens its presence in Latin America and reaffirms its commitment to conscious, authentic hospitality aligned with the expectations of today's traveler.
