The opening of Excel London's Capital Hall and Auditorium in 2024 marked a significant increase in capacity, welcoming more exhibitors and enhancing the visitor experience. Now, with the addition of an additional 25,000 m² in 2025 (a 25% expansion of Excel), WTM London 2025 is poised for further growth, with more space, enhanced content, and increased high-level participation.

The expansion allows WTM London to present WTM Trend Fest, a new cultural program highlighting immersive global experiences from around the world. Reinforcing the event's commitment to key travel trends, WTM Trend Fest offers exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their activities on a new cultural stage. With themes spanning wellness, pop culture, gastronomy, sports, and adventure, opportunities include live performances, sponsorship, themed activities, and daily presentations.

More than 4,000 exhibitors participated in WTM London 2024, an 8% increase compared to 2023, spanning everything from destinations and experiences to transport, accommodation, and technology solutions. Early indicators point to record growth by 2025. To further enhance the exhibitor experience, WTM London will launch its live television channel, WTM TV, next year, designed to educate, engage, and connect audiences. With guaranteed visibility across the venue and online, WTM TV offers partners and attendees a new level of information and access to the show.

The event's influence continues to expand at the political level, attracting more than 50 Ministers of Tourism in 2024, a 12% increase over the previous year. The 2025 Ministers' Summit at WTM, held in partnership with UN Tourism and the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC), will feature its most impactful program to date. Organizers already anticipate even greater participation in 2025.

This year, the event will be led by newly appointed Event Director Chris Carter-Chapman, who has strong ambitions to work with industry partners and attendees to help further cement WTM London's position as the world's most influential travel event.

Chris comments: “While we are still in the early stages of the planning and promotional cycle, all indications are that WTM London 2025 will be a landmark edition, with significant growth over 2024. With the next phase of Excel London’s expansion underway, we are opening up unprecedented opportunities for exhibitors, content, and visitor experiences on a scale never before seen.”

“Our partnership with Excel London is fundamental to the growth and innovation of WTM London. Together, we are creating a dynamic platform that cements the capital as the epicenter of the global dialogue on travel and tourism.”

“WTM London is proud of its heritage, but we are firmly focused on the future,” Chris concluded. “We are evolving faster than ever to meet the expectations of a global audience, and 2025 will set a new benchmark for what this event can offer.”

WTM London will once again collaborate with its Conference Advisory Team, which will help organize the market-leading conference program. The panel will be composed of:
