He also said that the holding of the Mexico Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba is a testament to the international prestige Quintana Roo has earned as a host of major sporting events.
"This tournament not only enhances the natural beauty of the Riviera Maya, but also translates into shared prosperity for the people of Quintana Roo, by boosting the local economy, encouraging investment, and strengthening our state's tourism vocation, as defined by the New Era of Tourism," emphasized the head of the State Secretariat of Tourism (SEDETUR).
During the week of May 22-25, the Mexican Caribbean experienced a true celebration of sports, supported by thousands of fans, international media, and volunteers, who made this tournament an unforgettable experience for players and visitors.
The performance of Mexican María Fassi, who proudly represented her country, strengthens Quintana Roo's commitment to fostering opportunities for competition and excellence for national and international talent.
