LATAM Airlines Group announced that, starting June 15, 2025, all of its operations at Mexico City International Airport (AICM) will move from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1. This decision is part of a strategy aimed at improving operational efficiency and providing a more comfortable and agile travel experience for its passengers.
The new customer service desk will be located in Concourse F3 of Terminal 1, with operating hours from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time. Access to the VIP lounge will be located in Concourse H, across from Gate 19, through security checkpoint "G," with service available 24 hours a day.
With this change, the company seeks to strengthen its value proposition, centered on connectivity and comfort. Travel agencies and business partners have been asked to update the information on their respective channels as of the indicated date, to avoid confusion among users.
LATAM Airlines maintains a solid operation with daily direct flights between Mexico City and Santiago, Chile, being the only airline to offer this frequency on that route. It also operates daily flights from Cancún to Santiago and Lima, and from Mexico City to São Paulo and Lima, with connections to various destinations in Latin America.
Currently, LATAM's network reaches 153 destinations in 27 countries, consolidating its leadership position in the region. The airline has recently received several awards for its excellence in onboard service, entertainment, comfort, and the quality of its VIP lounges.
