Dominican airline Arajet announced today the expansion of its route network in the United States with the launch of a new direct service between Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB). This new connection strengthens Arajet's presence in Florida, a key state for tourism and for millions of travelers from the Latin American diaspora.

Flights will begin October 26, 2025, with promotional fares starting at $138 one-way from SFB to PUJ and $162 from PUJ to SFB. These fares are available now at www.arajet.com using the promo code #HOLAORLANDO, which offers up to 30% off the base ticket price (excluding taxes and fees; offer valid for one person per booking).

“The launch of our service in Orlando represents a new milestone in Arajet’s growth strategy in North America,” said Víctor Pacheco Méndez, CEO and founder of Arajet. “Orlando is not only one of the most visited tourist destinations in the world, but also home to a vibrant Latino community. With this new route, we continue to fulfill our mission of offering affordable, comfortable, and direct flights between Latin America and the United States.”

Since entering the U.S. market with flights to Miami, Arajet has maintained rapid expansion. On June 4, the airline will add a new direct connection between Miami International Airport (MIA) and Punta Cana (PUJ), allowing Latin American travelers to choose between arriving directly in Punta Cana or Santo Domingo.

The flights will be operated on modern Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, renowned for their energy efficiency and comfort, consolidating Arajet's position as one of the airlines with the youngest fleet in North America.

Service from Sanford International Airport—the second major gateway to Orlando—will offer a convenient and economical alternative with three weekly flights: Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, opening up access to one of the world's most popular tourist destinations, with convenient connections to Arajet's growing network of destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America.

This expansion is possible thanks to the Open Skies agreement between the Dominican Republic and the United States, which has allowed Arajet to offer competitive fares and expand its reach to a broader audience in the region.

With Orlando, Arajet adds six destinations in the U.S.: Boston, Chicago, Miami, New York, San Juan, and now Orlando, reinforcing its commitment to connecting Latin America with North America in a direct, economical, and sustainable manner.
