Buenos Aires, June 5, 2025 – Greater Miami and Miami Beach reaffirm their ongoing commitment to LGBTIQ+ inclusion by celebrating Pride Month with an extensive agenda of events and activities throughout June. This program highlights the value of cultural diversity and consolidates the destination as one of the most inclusive and representative internationally.
The celebrations kicked off with the Miami Beach Classical Music Festival's Pride Concert, held on May 31 and June 1. This event, organized in conjunction with the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) and Miami Beach Pride, was distinguished by its staging on the facade of the historic Tides South Beach, which was enhanced with visual projections. It featured renowned DJs and producers such as La Trice Perry and Eliad Cohen, and offered a unique cultural experience that combined music, art, and community awareness.
In parallel, the Rainbow Spring initiative, promoted by the GMCVB and in collaboration with Expedia, is being implemented for the third consecutive year. It offers curated experiences, exclusive promotions, and a selection of iconic events such as the Winter Party Festival, Miami Beach Pride, OUTshine Film Festival, and SweetHeat Miami. This strategic initiative reinforces the destination's position as a leader in LGBTIQ+ hospitality and tourism throughout the season.
Now in its sixth year, Wynwood Pride continues to grow in impact and attendance. The event kicked off on June 1st with Solar Flair, a pool party held at Arlo Wynwood, and featured live DJ sets and drag performances by artists such as Gia Gunn, FKA Twink, and Persephone Von Lips. The schedule includes upcoming dates such as Freddie ft. Naomi Smalls' Ride Wynwood on June 13th and Big Wig on June 20th and 21st.
Throughout June, the city hosts a series of events that highlight the culture, creativity, and unity of the LGBTIQ+ community. Highlights include Vizcaya Late: Pride Edition (June 4), CommuniTEA Dance at the Adrienne Arsht Center (June 8), and Pride Laser Evening at the Phillip & Patricia Frost Museum of Science (June 13). Other events include Pridelines' Pride Portraits, film experiences at Rooftop Cinema Club, mixology classes, literary readings, and charity events like Cocktail for a Cause at local bars and restaurants.
The Greater Miami and Miami Beach LGBT Visitor Center continues to be a key space for highlighting businesses led by LGBTIQ+ people and allies. Notable initiatives include themed menus and cocktails, partnerships with organizations like The Trevor Project, and special discounts at hotels, bars, and cultural venues.
The Pride celebration also extends through temporary art installations that promote reflection and diversity. These include Duck with Pride: Unity Beak and Proud Love on Lincoln Road and the EPIC Art: Sam Kirk exhibition at the Kimpton EPIC Hotel. The Coral Gables art scene also includes photographer David Gary Lloyd's Garden Shadows of the Sun exhibition, which addresses themes of queer identity and symbolism.
With these actions, Greater Miami and Miami Beach reaffirm their leadership as a destination committed to inclusion, diversity, and full representation of the LGBTIQ+ community.
