Uruguayan Tourism presented in Mexico

The Ministry of Tourism, together with the Uruguayan Chamber of Tourism, presented new tourism proposals this past Thursday, June 5th, at the Fiesta Americana Reforma Hotel in Mexico City

Uruguay strengthens its position as a tourist destination in Mexico with a proposal that goes beyond the traditional. Uruguay, its attractions and comparative advantages in terms of sustainability, smart destinations, safety, and benefits for non-resident tourists were presented.

Participating in the breakfast were Uruguayan Ambassador to Mexico, Santiago Wins, Uruguayan Consul to Mexico, Fernando Pereda, Mauricio Muñoz representing the Ministry of Tourism, and Macarena Pérez and María Julia Fernández representing Camtur.

The following operators supported this initiative: Abtou, Buquebus, Cynsa, Dcom Travel, Personal Operadora, Solanas Vacation, Vik Retreats, and Copa Airlines.

At the end of the event, a raffle was held among operators and media outlets for a one-week stay for two people to Montevideo, Colonia, and Punta del Este, with airfare courtesy of Copa Airlines.
