What are the goals and expectations of those who came to participate in the MarketHub?

The goal of participating in this MarketHub event, with Hotelbeds as one of the chain's main partners, is to strengthen relationships with guests and showcase our newest project, which will open in December of this year and early 2026: Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana. This property will be a departure from the norm in the destination; it will be the first vertical property, with 19 floors in towers, carefully curated down to the last detail under sustainability standards and featuring a luxury all-inclusive concept. Furthermore, one of the great benefits of this event is being able to gather key data and information shared by the speakers and keynote speakers. Knowledge is power. And of course, it's also about socializing and strengthening ties.

There are some very important people from the business present here. What's your perception of the interest the chain's hotels generate among buyers?

Punta Cana is definitely the destination generating the most interest. Mexico, the Mexican Caribbean, remains strong, although some factors sometimes hinder sales. Therefore, there is great anticipation for the opening of Punta Cana. Jamaica is also generating great interest, especially now with the new LATAM flight connecting via Peru, which makes access from South America much easier. We are located in Ocho Rios, a spectacular destination.

Tell us more about the Jamaica hotel, for those who don't know it.

Moon Palace Jamaica is located in Ocho Rios, in the center of the island, between Kingston and Montego Bay. It's very close to some of the most iconic attractions, such as Dunn's River Falls—the waterfall that flows into the sea—the Jamaica Below Zero-style go-cart mountain, and Bob Marley's house. As for service, the quality of the product we offer at Moon Palace Jamaica is exceptional. While we've adapted the brand to the local culture, the heart of the service remains Mexican: 100% Mexican hospitality.

Sustainability and working with local communities are increasingly valued. What initiatives do you have in this regard?

We have a corporate foundation that works in four areas: environment, social work, education, and sustainability. For example, all the oil used in our kitchens is transformed into biodiesel, which we then use to power carts and tractors on our golf courses. In Cancún, we clean beaches, and the collected sargassum is turned into compost for fertilizer. We also have solar panels, and our laundries implement sustainable practices. These are just a few of the many concrete actions we take to actively contribute to the environment.
