From June 2 to 4, Central America actively participated in LATA EXPO 2025, the UK's most important event dedicated to Latin American tourism, reaffirming its position as an emerging and diverse destination among key players in the sector.
The regional representation was led by the Central American Tourism Promotion Agency (CATA), which took advantage of this platform to establish strategic links with tour operators, specialized media, and travel agents from the United Kingdom and Europe. Activities included individual meetings, networking opportunities, and promotional activities focused on the region's natural, cultural, and multi-destination riches.
During the event, key engagements were made with partners in the British market, aimed at promoting the development of sustainable tourism products and experiences aligned with the emerging preferences of European travelers.
Additionally, we strengthened our relationship with specialized media outlets, such as Wanderlust Magazine , with the goal of expanding the region's editorial visibility and projecting it as a gateway to authentic experiences in the heart of the American continent.
Central America's participation in LATA EXPO 2025 is part of CATA's ongoing efforts to attract visitors from Europe, consolidating the region as a safe, accessible, and authentic destination.
